We don’t have very much information on the T12 – it was an experimental US belt-fed light machine gun in the early 1930s, with a flapper locking system similar to the DP series of LMGs. What we do have is this set of original photos from the Aberdeen Proving Ground, which are posted on the T12 LMG page in the Vault.

Wow, looks interesting!
I’ve never heard about this gun before.
Looks very slim…I think it would be quite light weight, and if it’s chambered in .30-06 Springfield, then it could be a portable awesome firepower !
The muzzle device also looks pretty…I guess is it a flash hider or kindа recoil compensator ? Or maybe both?
