Welcome to the Vault! Here at Forgotten Weapons, we love finding information on – you guessed it – forgotten weapons. We’ve put that information together into a single easy to use resource for our fellow gun enthusiasts. Here in the Vault you will find manuals, detailed close-up photos, and official testing reports on rare, prototype, and exotic firearms.

We believe that this information needs to be preserved and made freely available. Many of the people with firsthand experience of these firearms are growing old, and their families do not appreciate the value of what they know. Our goal is to preserve the knowledge of experimental firearms. During the first half of the 20th century there was an immense variety of design, before people fell into a rut of optimization. Many early designs were flawed, but in their uniqueness may lie the seeds of the next great ideas.
